The Art and Design department offers opportunities for pupils to develop skills in a wide range of media (including; pencil, ink, paint, oil pastel, clay work, mini design projects, puppet making and felt making). The course aims to cover all of experiences and outcomes within the curriculum for excellence. As well as this pupil are asked to comment on their work as well as on the work of other artists using the visual elements.
