Created by Heriot-Watt University based in Edinburgh, SCHOLAR provides computer-based learning materials to support teaching and learning in Maths, Sciences, Languages and Business subjects.
The SCHOLAR programme is designed to encourage student independent learning supported by a teacher. SCHOLAR resources allow students to practice and receive feedback on their learning allowing their confidence to grow. Increased awareness of their own abilities supports students in becoming successful learners.
Teachers in school have been provided with passwords to issue to all pupils studying at Higher, Advanced Higher and Intermediate levels in certain subjects. If your son or daughter has not yet received their password, encourage him or her to ask their teacher.
