The school aims to provide a secure, supportive and challenging environment based on mutual respect where staff and pupils develop their skills to the highest level. We also seek to promote education as an active partnership through our home and wider community links.
Our school vision statement which underpins all we do is; 'educating the whole person, in a spirit of enquiry, to judge wisely, act fairly and live well.'
The roll in September 2022 was 1140 and is projected to grow significantly in the medium term. Stay-on rates have improved and are typical of the local authority and national picture.
